What is the current rating of the switches! Thanks.
Very informative, I saw the final result video. Are you by chance a Mechanical engineer @JDS Outdoors?

did they threaten to sue you or did the buy you off?

What size is your tool box?
Thanks for your video! The guys in the lumberyard kept trying to talk us into buying pressure treated wood. You saved our boat 😊
Fuel keg is great. Love mine
❤❤❤❤❤❤dog at work
I had it completely backwards! No wonder I wasn't doing well.
We have the same generator for our 30 watt 5th wheel and we just tried to use it to just run the ac and our generator couldn’t handle it. It was also 98° outside and wandered if the generator circuit board was overheating 🤷🏽♀️
@@Diamondranchfarmstead put a soft start on your ac. Get the good one it's about 300 bucks but it helps big time. I can send the link to the one I have if you like
@@JDSOutdoors ours has a soft start and it was a brand new ac unit 😓
You'll be using pvc today an air dryer is 600 bucks cooper is too too expensive
I just watched it... It's Fair..
Nice job keep up good work i have one i build msepty self with 2 lithium battery 18V 12A & 18 V 5A battery with 36/48/72 V converter 12V 10A out put with 12 way fused block and 500 watts inverter and 4 switch and better meter tell volt and percent of battery and 2 110 AC out let 15A and usb type c and 2.1A and 3 usb port usb 2.1A in small tool box
Man, you saved my new aluminum boat hulls life. Will be avoiding treated woods definitely after seeing this video
Great video, however you forgot to do a post airbag inflation measurement. Lol did the bags eliminate the 1.5" drop??
She knows!
Great video! Thank you for making it. Does this kit work on Forman as well?
If it has the same engine yes
Problem starts at 4:02
Can I make the same way in bigger box and add 2 batteries or would I need do thing differently
Absolutely. I have videos on those as well.
Im sticking with the old school cheap refill system, works fine on Coleman canisters. Use soapy water to check if youre worried
They leak when new so best of luck
@@JDSOutdoorsI've never had a problem and you can check them with soapy water. Are you really saying the new ones leak? 🤣
@Vera-xu3xw 100% they can. Put one in a heater and take it off half full. If you do that 10x I bet ya 1-2 of them leak out slowly. Personal experience..
Thank you for doing this! I just bought the Flame King and will return it tomorrow.
New subsciber here. And all i have to say is thank u for showing us how to install rivets and how they work. Keep up the great content and looking forward to more boat content. Much love to ya from Maryland❤❤❤
Much aprechiated. No new boat stuff for a while but it will happen once I build my new house.
I learned today that if u have a built in surge protector in your rv, that it wont work with a generator because of the open ground. U have to make a plug that ties the neutral and the ground together and then the surge protector will work and allow power to the rv.
Can you use a temp gun to get the temp on the pump side, then the output side of the radiator pipe after it’s been running for a good long time so it’s nice and hot. Curious to see the difference. My abrasive blasting system keeps getting clogged with moisture
I like the idea of cooling the air before it goes into the tank, very smart. I plan on experimenting with a desiccant filter on the air intake to stop the moisture before it goes into the pump as well as your radiator cooling system. Will have the stock air filter first, then the desiccant filter and into the compressor. Will try that first before adding the radiator
So what happens when your Dewalt battery and power box battery dies? I was looking at your design of the power box and there would be enough run to put a hand crank motor that you could put a handle on to manually charge the dead battery. Store the handle in the case and when needed, take it out, connect it to the crank and turn to generate charging for your battery. You can't do this with the Dewalt on it's own, but you could do it with the power box. :-)
Doing this upgrade today...can you have the solar panel plugged in while the battery is in use with load?
Yes
🤡
Did your spot lights work? The ones on the mirrors..
Yea
I had 30 ft coach and I had both ac running, turned the microwave, every light on and small items plugged in and only pulled 3200 watts to the best of my memory. That 3500 is adequate for that coach. It’s rare you have that kind of a load on a coach
Great video, just sad it's an add on part for the USA 😡
I agree it should be standard like it to our friends in Canada
interested! very nice info, useful!thank you
If I'm making this power box for my fish finder and livescope, instead of using banana plugs, do you think it's better for me to use SAE adapters instead for an easier plug and play? Also excellent video! Thank you
Yes absolutely
I have the same bumper on a 3.5 ecoboost. It blocks the intercooler. Do you have any issues with that covering the intercooler?
None at all pulled trailers cross country to without issues
My Klein outlet tester also showed 30v open neutral on the outlet on my Genmax gm3500iaed 3500w generator. I wasn't getting power from the two 20a AC outlets so I saw this and tested the outlet with my multimeter. All I got was 6.4v and it is impossible to get in touch with the manufacturer or the warranty service. I hate sending it back since it now has gasoline in it and it will be a pain boxing it up
Thanks for the explanation! Here I was thinking something was wrong with my tank, not venting when the valve was twisted!
😂😂😂😂
No you are damaging components by not reading the manual. The open ground is because of NEC regs for use on houses that supply a common ground. The manual tells you that for any other use you will need a grounding plug. If you're gonna DIY electricity, do the homework. (and get a current rating correct for your RV)
You gotta just recalibrate it as horizontal with forscan, the module is only like $60 online
It's been tried
Excellent! You are the man!
The peat moss compostable cups require way more nitrogen than your providing. I worked in a greenhouse for several years, this is pretty common. Think of it this way, when you make compost you add greens to your browns to provide a proper ratio for effective decomposition. What has happened is all of your nitrogen has been locked up in the decomposition process. If you want an organic solution, dilute fish emulsion should remedy this. Otherwise some general purpose liquid feed fertilizer will fix that.one more thing to consider is a possible bacterial, viral, or fungal contamination in your peat cells, One year we lost over a third of our plants. Stay positive, they should come out of it. Oh and if your tomato plants get tobacco mosaic virus spary the whole entire plant with whole milk, its a natural anti-viral for mosaic, hope this helps.
Awesome information thank you. I've lost about half of my plants so far. They went in the ground today, I took the pots off so hopefully they turn around.
My beans did the same this year. The ones I grew in solo cups look fine, but the ones that were in the compostable cups are clearly having a hard time, even after planting in the ground.
I'm hoping they come back. Planted them in the ground today and took all the cups off. We will see.
What’s the manufacturer and country of origin?
It's not specified. I'm sure china
@@JDSOutdoors where's the link? You never did what you said you'd do. What's the brand?
@The.Floor.Store.At.Your.Door44 the link is in the description just like I said I would do. Takes 2 seconds to find it
@@JDSOutdoorsI looked at them on Amazon and noticed they have no drainage holes. If you were watering those pots like the plastic ones it could just be that they were overwatered. Just something to think about.
Are they fixing the problem
Not at all
We can only imagine. Maybe dreaming of chewing on... something
Good comparison. Thanks for putting the information out there
Since I don't have a vagina, I just reuse the empty green cans
Another bit for the New Drivers out there. Exit your cab backward with the sacred three-points of contact rule. 15 or so years ago this was drilled into my head with a few screams and curses and getting my Stanley thermos tossed from the cab as a young driver from an old time trainer. I've seen a lot of guys get really damaged by not exiting this way.....and hardhat...99.9999999% of the time it's unnecessary but if you're delivering to a site.....you never know...rocks can magically get launched at you. Keep it safe. Great video.
It making good power at the inverter so I would say it’s not that
Try a neutral-ground bonding plug
